Is $20 too much to charge for a year link on my pr4?

I have never sold links on my sites before but am thinking I could make some monies doing so. I have a very nice pr4 blog that I want to sell links on first but I'm wondering if asking $20/year is too much or not?

Site is #1 for most of its keywords and within top 3 for the rest. Gets a good bit of traffic each day and has been a great site thus far. Site is also over a year old.

you can get 50 a month for a PR4, according to the link for sale section. I'm sure you're away that's against Google TOS right?

Just like with any other business you have to look at competition when setting your price. Just go to links sale section here on DP and see what other people charge.
If you have a good and high ranking blog you can charge premium for the traffic and ranking as well.
Many people will pay $200 a year if it's a quality blog.

It depends what else is available, some people will be looking at traffic numbers in addition to PR.

I don't buy links, but if I did I would give preference to those blogs that had higher traffic numbers and of course, less outgoing links.

maybe too little, but not too much. If you only plan to sell a small amount of links then i would charge a little more. People will pay more to be one of the few links on page instead of a cheap link in a farm

I only plan to sell 2-3 links. don't want my site cluttered. It gets over a few thousand uniques per month and a crapload of pageviews and hits

Be careful man! I get approached all of the time for people wanting to buy links from my auto site. To me, the money isn't worth the penalty. I know in some countries 50 US dollars is worth a lot more, but not here.

Selling a few links isn't a problem as long as you don't go overboard. Also, try not to make it obvious that you're selling links, don't put them under a header such as "Paid Links" or "Sponsored Links". You know, just the obvious stuff.

You should be fine though. In answer to your question, I believe $20 a year for a PR4 is definitely too CHEAP, certainly not expensive.

I don't plan to get carried away with it. Just want to sell a few, see how it goes and if it does well I may sell a link or two on some of my other sites

I dont think $20 is a lot for your site especially that it is ranked number 1 for your keyword and gets a decent amount of traffic.
Make sure you dont sell many links or it wont look good. You can charge a higher price if your going to put like 3-4 links only.

I think $20 is too less. You can ask more.
