One thing you don't want to do is put all of your eggs in one basket. So spread out the money you have into product development, marketing, website hosting etc. Hope this helps
Many Micro blogs, sites, spread the cash around, not too many sites, get 10-20 and disperse each a budget 20-60$ depending on the proejct.
Look for some of the top selling items on ebay, Look for redicilous discounts in shops over easter and make sure you would be able to make profit off. Buy em and start seling em on ebay. if you have 500 USD and found out a new game that is hot in the market, then get on with it. Or tell you a nice secret. Buy an Ipad from apple if you are in USA, and sell it on ebay to UK and other countries as it is not released in the rest of the worl yet. You can make 150 - 200 UK pound profit on each transaction sold. And trust me, you WILL SELL!!. . *Don't forget my cut*
Take your $500.00 invest it a clip store. License some content, update daily, in a few months you will have doubled your money. You could also look at a bigger site, and using the $500.00 as a down payment on the deal. Then you could get things moving a little quicker.
i decided to go with an original and new idea - and spent all my money on it - lol a fool maybe but not if it pays off! i bought a Custom CMS - design and programming can't wait to open watch this space! thanks guys.
I think there's a reason why we here anything but WordPress and Joomla, it's because they're the only advance CMS'es.
^thanks - yeah i will have other ways of income for marketing - and hope to make my money back within 5 months - then profit!
You should invest in your sites. Most likely what would happen is if you start more sites you'll abandon the new site like your old sites.Work on what you have so far build those up.
I would keep the money and start looking for an affiliate program to promote. and start your journey. Set a strategy for traffic generation, and watch your conversions to ensure success. the best way is to really find out what you want and then buy it as required. $500 probably won't go far but you can get some basic software that can make the job easier for you.
Spend your $500 to build your virtual niche empire. It's going to pay you many years to come. This is how you spend your money : 1. Hosting (get a good reseller hosting at around $25/month) 2. Get 10 (.com) domains to start with. Cost around $80 3. Outsource 100 articles - 10 articles per site (cost around $300 for $3/a piece) 4. Invest in The Best Spinner (by Jon Legere $77/yr) to create unique copy of article and submit to top 10 article directories. Total come out about $500 and most important it works !
Nigel, here's my 2 cents. If you already have 2 websites that aren't earning that much for you at the moment, why not work to get those earning you money. If you get a 3rd domain and it does the same, then where are you at. You want to create as many passive forms of income as you can, and adding a 3rd website that does nothing for you won't help. If I were you, I would take my $500 and stretch it as far as I could in making your current websites into money makers for you.
I advise you look for a proffesional website developer to give you some ideas on what you could do and then you could invest on someone to do the job for you.
Well, you can pay an outsourcer to do the SEO work for your site to gain traffic and users. Then attach adsense in it then gain from clicks. A free way to get a good ranking is by article marketing. Write an article, spin and submit. I use easyarticlespinner.net when I need spun articles. You might want to have a try too.
