He should atleast continue for one more year. He would be making his decision this sunday. I would love to see him race another season. Formula1 would look empty without him.
+1 I agree with you, Formula 1 without Michael Schumacher, this is not Formula 1, this is Destruction Derby... Please Michael, stay in Formula 1 one more year !!
A Schumacher + Raikkonen lineup would be a dream come true, but it won't happen because of the enormous costs for Ferrari... And IMO, Michael will quit on a high and when he feels the time is right....
What do you think about Schumacher and Alonso combination? It would just eliminate the competition completely.
Ross Brawn is reportedly taking a break in 2007..if he goes I doubt Schumi would continue.... And Sumit, agree that the combo would eliminate competition, but you have to take into account other factors.... Money is one, and the other is the fact that neither would like to play second fiddle to each other, and they will both want the tag of the team's no 1 drivers...
Well, the Raikkonen + Schumacher combo isn't that unlikely. Alonso is going to McLaren and Raikkonen has been rumoured to leave McLaren the entire year, with his two options being Renault or Ferrari. Kovalainen is now confirmed to be Renault's second driver behind Fisichella. If he doesn't stay in McLaren, Ferrari (who's been actively trying to get him the last couple of years) seems to be the only option. So I think there are two scenarios in Ferrari for 07: 1. Schumacher and Raikkonen (Massa third driver) 2. Raikkonen and Massa (Schumacher retiring)
I think he should continue for atleast one more season. Besides, with Raikkonen along next season, they make the most lethal team in the history of Formula 1
Micheal Confirms his Retirement. “This is the right moment - this is my last Monza race. I have decided to retire from racing. It’s been an exceptional time that motorsport has given me and I have loved every moment - the good and bad. They are what make life so special.†He Said.
He won't come to Nascar.or any other kind .unless he wants to reunite with Montoya.. .He is old for an F-1 driver, but calling it quits would not be an easy decision, and one can understand the emotion which would be going within him
It would be nice to see him battle with Hakkinen in DTM in a year or two. He was at one time in the Mercedes Junior team so who knows if he decides retirement is boring.
