Hey, I was considering make a Paid to Click website for some income. I already own a forum www.pspgohackz.com/forum, but forums take a very long time to get popular and make alot of revenue off of. So I have decided to stick with the forum, and continue to make it grow but also get revenue from a PTC at the same time. I was wondering how much would it cost me to start a PTC? This includes adding hosting, a domain, etc. to the price. I am not the greatest with programming so I am not sure what is all needed to start one. Thanks, also if any of you own a PTC and are making a nice revenue please tell me about it. Oh also, I thought this was the right section but I was not 100% sure, moderators please move my thread if it is in the wrong location.
From what I have read your post, Are you going to offer Online PPC Advertising system provider like Google Adwords? If yes, that is a huge system and you need more than a simple knowledge or a few programmers to handle it. You also need a big budget to spend for infastructure costs too. Do I understand correct about your business?
Sxperm, I believe the whole PTC concept is completely different from the google Adwords/Adsense model. Google does not use an incentivized click model, whereas PTC does. Incentivizing (in the form of money) someone to click on a link with any type of google advertising is a big no-no!
i build PTC sites. i charge $500 per package and it includes: the hosting, the domain, and the entire site. PM me for more info
I own a ptc. You need to have many members to generate a nice income. I'm sure that donkeymails rakes in a nice amount. My site is not even close to that type of membership. You can pm me if you want to take a look at it. I'll answer any questions you may have...
If you want to start a PTC network site, you'll want a dedicated server (for lots of traffic) which will be a couple hundred a month at least. Domain's are like $10 max, unless you want to buy something used with a high rank already. Finally, PTC software can be several hundred depending on what you go with. You'll also want to look into shopping cart systems, hiring some developers and support staff... Basically, running a PTC site will be starting a full-time business venture. However, somebody mentioned doing all this for you above for $500, so you can probably streamline it enough so it doesn't take up that full-time-job bit, but be aware of fraud and security issues.
