I don't think so. For example,i have reported several thread which post at wrong section. But until today the reported thread is still there which mean MOD did not take action against the thread. It not only happen once. In fact,i have experience this a lot of time.
Can someone please help me I want to let people know I have a casino site to setup a link exchange but i keep getting deleted, i can't post to that forum so the only way I can let people know is it reply to a thread but i keep getting deleted. This is EXTREMELY frustrating as you give me bad points but you don't give me the method and tell me how I should post. I need help to be able to do this because I don't know what you want please can you give me a template message that I can post on that forum because I'm very sad that I don't know how to please the moderators here please someone help me
I just don't understand that there is link exchange forum but you won't let me add my reply or won't let me post that I have a link i wish to exchange. I am not requesting the authors exchange with me in fact the reason i reply to posts is I am not allowed to make a new thread - can you help me please!!!!!!!!!! You don't have the ability to post link exchanges. Some topics are only available to established members. If you have nothing to contribute to the forum and are only here to spam for link exchanges, you can save yourself the hassle and just do it on a different forum.
Also I think moderators should give people specific reason related to the post as to why it gets deleted because saying it's because it's inaapropriate doesn't actually tell me how its inappropriate and doesn't also tell me that I can't reply to forums - I personally think this is why I got so many infractions because I had no idea why i was being deleted they just said inappropriate so i went ahead removed links tried to reword sentence and still got bad points, this to me says that moderator need to personally send mesage about specific post so that person knows whats wrong otherwise they will be like me and keep trying to post and not know that posting is the problem Hope you understand, please forgive sentence structures i split my skull open as kid lol makes it harder to get meaning out of what i want to say. Hi there I don't want to spam I am 100% against spam my friend. I just want to get connected with like wise people so I can trade link with my industry members. I'm sorry it's hard to understand what I did wrong please be patient with me my brain isn't the same condition as normal people.
It's all covered in the FAQ, read it. There is a giant yellow notice you see when you first log in telling you to read the FAQ. If you refuse to read it, not sure what else you want us to do. Come to your house and babysit you? You also get an email for every infraction you get giving you details.
Thanks dp, I guess i should not have mentioned my injury. being disabled i always run into problems like this I just wish some people would be more understanding you are quite rude to me and don't realise i have problems in life, why should this give me no right to try to be on the internet as well. not everyone has a healthy functioning mind and body you know, you must try understand i do my best to communicate and i think i do it quite well but i don't always process things like i should if i were to be healthy adult. you try having frequent grand mal siezures and being able to understand i can't even remember where i am after each seizure. but i still try make living on internet too because what else can i do but try to do this
Well it sucks you got brain damage earlier in your life, but if you are mentally unable to use a forum properly due to a physical injury, you should probably do things you are good at instead. If I had two broken legs, I certainly wouldn't try to run a marathon, and then complain that it's not fair others are running faster than me because I had two broken legs. If I choose to do something in which I knowingly have a disadvantage it, I would accept that going into it and not start giving a "poor me" story about how I can't run as fast due to injury. That being siad, if you are unable to read or understand the FAQ, maybe you can get one of your friends to help you with it.
I am great designer I do great websites, I don't cry poor me story I just need to explain to you because you automatically persecute me as a spammer because of the way i communicate. All i was originally asking is to why I was not allowed to reply in the link exchanges to post a new thread this way. If the moderators can ban me why can't they also explain to me why. those emails i got didn't explain why. don't worry about it I will keep trying to figure it out myself thanks anyway
Two people on this thread banned... But I know strictness makes it cleaner but its get a bit too strict. I like this forum for a fact that it is extremely clean, but rules like no blog commenting aren't stated very clearly - I don't see any posts saying that rule. But I'll guess this forum is ok, I know probably 99% of the rules now and I'll just stay clean. Thanks.
There is a link on homepage of forum as well as under quick links which shows up on every page on forum. People who do not know, are probably the same as the people who do not read FAQ or stickies
Being strict helps keep things flowing better for everyone. If you don't like it being to strict you can find another forum. No one is forcing you to use this one. However I believe we should be able to get answers when we get infractions whether we get to discuss it with that moderator or something. Theres been two of my posts deleted in the last 3 days that I don't feel should have. If I could get an explanation it would be all good but sometimes it seems mods either hold a personal vendetta and just give you an infraction and delete the topic so they have no questions asked. I recieved an email saying i got an infraction and my topic was moved I came on here and my topic was actually deleted. It had to package a $5 and a $25 so I put it in services but the infraction stated it belonged in the freebies doesn't make sense. But I agree sometimes this place can be to strict but sometimes not strict enough so its never a win/win situation someones always going to say they are being treated unfairly while others get away with anything and everything.
I would argue that this forum has more scammers and BS on it than any other forum I am member of, they should ban people for life for serious infractions and stop worrying about stuff like thread bumping and short posts.
