Cheers Hotelsex ( never called anyone that before..) , glad you've had a look and pondered what I'm getting at. Of course, they may well be a waste of time and cash but it's the 'thinking out of the box' element I like. All I know is, I enjoy seeing those FAIL pics and video clips...and will enjoy seeing those in 3D even more.Combine the two and hey presto...3DFail. As for the 3D being an ED...that IS a gamble but a worthwhile one IMHO. If we are to assume that the term 3D is to become as common as e.g. DVD or HD or whatever then it's going to be pummelled into our subconscious. We will be used to it! It doesn't take a great leap of the imagination to then look at melding the term into domain names. GRE3D , SPE3D, FRE3D..etc. Still a short domain and arguably chunky on the pronunciation side...G..R...E..3D. BUT....it IS easy to remember. It also looks great in certain fonts with the 3 an exact mirror of the E. Definitely not a random type in but brandable..........PKR.com anyone? I've pushed the boat out even further by regging SP3RT.com,F3LM.com FOOTB3LL.com and a few others. I know, I know ...a waste of cash etc etc etc....but....

Will let you know how it goes :)

Just picked up 3dmobile.info really cheap. With all the 3d mobiles in the pipe line I like this one.

Try and think of any successful site with "negative" words in, I think you will struggle. I would try and go with positive words or product/service names, the only words that work are words like crashes, spills, wipeouts, bloopers, accidents etc maybe 3DAccidents or 3DWipeouts would be worth regging, havent checked whats available, I know people are always looking for stuff like that

You are kidding aren't you. A site isn't popular if YOU haven't heard of it! Oh dear..

get real, ShipmentFail.......FailKing....ask around and see how many people have heard of them, I asked about 10 people in the office and no-one had even heard of them

Put a poll on NP and see the results, some may have heard of them, but most wont know what they are or visit them regularly

    ShipmentFail doesnt seem to exist

yes, but god, every 2nd email you get with them is the same, one day they might find new material, had a look and most is absolute cr@p

Heard of Rotten, but not a site I visit very often, and you will find your average person in the street will say the same

man, those sites are a dime a dozen, there are a million of them, and 99% of the cr@p is the same on every site

its the thing the average person gets and hits the delete button quickly

BTW ...meant to write ShipmentOfFail.com. You mentioned warez.com, i'd never heard of that but I'd be happy to own the name, valued at $42,000 on estibot. I truly am interested in your definition of a successful site, popular site etc Giles. Is it solely for ones that sell goods or are mainstream comparison sites or of that ilk? Is every other site in-between of no interest?

Failblog has been a top 5000 site for about a year Currently has a 3 month average of 1026 (United States 544)

Rotten has been losing traffic steadily for a couple of years, from being a top x,xxx site, its currently 12,456 (United States 7,404)

Board has been up and down over the last couple of years, averages about 9,000. (United States 3,422)

I didnt neccessarily mean WAREZ.com, I meant any warez site, there are 100's as well

Im really not getting into all the in's & outs, by successful, I am talking household names, tahts when you mention it, most people know what you are talking about

Anyway, we just have different opinions

Dont believe Estibot by the way, it valued one of my crappy names a while back at $18,000, I wish lol

    <meta name="language" content="en, sv" />
    Code (markup):
Isn't that the language code for Swedish?

Also, if you host the flash games on your own domain and hosting, the pages and flash games will load a lot quicker, they will not be reliant on mochiads.com staying up and you may also have a chance at getting them indexed with thumbnails, (provided your willing to make a video sitemap).
There is currently no sitemap.xml, sitemap.txt or robots.txt as far as I can see.

Other than that, it looks good.

    Cheers
    James
