in this case as the site requires daily attention and daily database restoration, i will buy it for 500 USD. as far as monthly links are concerned, those cant be counted as permanent links. i know that your starting bid is 1K USD but if i count my time and all, it will cost me even more than that.
I am selling it because I am having trouble maintaining it, but the buyer can always upgrade the directory scrip (upgrade for SiteSift script is available, I installed it when it was first releasted without ever patching it), which I am lazy at. For my own sites, yes the links will remain for atleast 6 months. Can be kept after that on a link exchange basis.
Auction will end in 3 days after the first post. There seems to be some problem with SS script (I have the first version, it has been patched now). I am using very old verison of SS script because I have changed to the script to add 6 links (see the submit page for example). Now if I upgrade, I need to do some coding again. Somebody is just deleteding my categories, I don't know how he is able to do so. But only the categories, not the links. Its happening twice a month from last two months.

Those header and footer links are there for around last 6 months or so. Site gets around 3000 visitors per month. I will not install any script, I will transfer the site as it is. As the script I used currently is modified to add extra links.
