how i can count total pages of my site

    hi i am working up on new site it is a big portal and it is a big challenge in front of me how i can count pages of my site. can you provide tool or method.

    Only one way.. search a website who create a full sitemap automatically and then submit that sitemap to google webmaster . Then it will show there, total number of link submitted.. :) Easiest way to get ..

    This is not accurate.. Its show less no. of link submitted than the actual pages on my site.

    You can try to use a sitemap generator available online. This can help you maximize the count of the pages on your site..

    Create a sitemap and choose to include all the pages.
    Then open that xml file in a html editor like NP++ and scroll down to the bottom to find the last line number.

    I hope XML Sitemap is very helpful to count your website pages. But Around 500 pages XLM sitemap catch. Otherwise use Google webmaster tools is defiantly help with you.

    Xenu's Link Slueth is the best software tool, I have experienced till now. It shows you all the pages of your domain as well as the broken links to be corrected.

    I said only for Indexed pages other option is to use any Crawler or software/site which helps you to make sitemap that software or site will check all the links from your all pages.
    I use Softplus Glitecrawler it will crawl in ur website and give u the exact nos of pages

    Better to login to your cpanel. There you can know the folders and file list. You can also use ftp.

    In your Cpanel you can see no posts plus no of pages . These are the total pages in your website
