    Drupal is the best CMS.

Joomla is very limited. It's not as modular as drupal.

With Drupal, I can create custom content types with different fields, then display those fields as I wish using views. I can set something to happen on certain events, using rules. Then I can use devel module to inspect everything, style almost anything, and the list goes on.

Drupal modules integrate with each other, they join forces to avoid duplicate modules, and all this is free, unlike Joomla. They check security of modules also

In Joomla, one needs to pay for everything except barebone. If you need something good, Buy a template, buy a plugin, buy a component, buy a module.

That's why I like Drupal. I was also liking Joomla in early days, but Once you learn Drupal, you will never leave it.

I used to be a big fan of Drupal until I started using Joomla. Hands down, Joomla really kicks ass. I like it even better than Wordpress. Go figure, ;)

for me Joomla is for people with minimal programming knowledge who need to get things done fast and easy, with lots of nice looking templates to choose from. while Drupal is for people with good programming knowledge who need solid & complex websites, custom designs, expandable features and excellent community :D

From the perspective of your average website owner / employee I'd say Joomla, because it is simply far easier to use for the average person.

As a programmer, I'd still say Joomla, because if I am forced to use a CMS, I prefer one that is actually easy to use, of course my actual preference as a programmer is simply to use RoR or CakePHP where I can knock up sites easier and quicker than I can with Drupal, with far more range, much better performance and that don't give designers a coronary at the though of having to implement their designs on them.

I think drupal is the best
We have to edit and delete a lot of pages when we create a website with Joomla.
This is not the case with drupal.
    But still people love Joomla.
    It is strange.
    Thanks

This is not the only thing that makes a CMS better than another, there are lot more things involved as I explained in original post.
The best thing of drupal is its flexibility.
