Hi I own a music website for my favorite artist and I am creating a downloads page on the site for users to download the artist's music videos. There are quite a lot of videos and it has took me ages to get them all and get them good quality. So I wanted to add my websites name as a watermark for about 3 seconds at the beginning of the videos. All of the video file types are different, for example: .avi, .mkv, .vob, .m4v, .m2v, .mpeg etc. Does anyone know how I can do this without losing the quality of the videos, and the quality of the audio? It would be great if I can keep all the file extensions on the videos too. Thank you
you can use virtualdub to edit those videos. it works for me..and its a free software. you just need to learn a little about its interface - try browsing some tutorials i think i learned putting a watermark in their forum
Chris, you can use virtual dub or pinnacle or sony vegas as long as you convert your videos to the video format supported by the software. There are many conversion software that don't cause any sort any quality loss. I can point you to some if you'd like.
Hi Chris, Not 100% sure on all those video types, but I believe that they should all work in Windows Movie Maker. You could just use that to put in your watermarks with the text tool. HTH Mike

I think any video software allows you to apply watermarks to the video. Windows movie maker will do the job just great
