With only 16 entries, your blog doesn't really have enough content to be a useful resource for the surfer. I suggest that you wait until you have over 50.

Just to let you know you can list more than one category for one website in DMOZ.

If you are confused where to list, find some of the famous websites that have similar
contents to your sites and see where they are listed.

Then could you explain why the guidelines say something NO NOT SUBMIT TO MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY?

Don't worry about category... if you submit to the wrong one the editor WILL move it to the best category for you rather then deleting it like the guidelines suggest... because the editors here, while not spokemen for the ODP certainly don't mind speaking for ALL editors even when such claims go against the guidelines they seemingly represent! Granted, the time it takes to get a listing may take a little longer, but then that is as it should be as the ODP is NOT a service (even though, once again, the guidelines clearly say that it is! ;)

(so I can back up my claims and give proof here, check out this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1725024&page=3 )

    Sorry, I didn't explain clearly.
Here is a example, let's say your website has the following structure, then you can submit them in different categories.

    www.mysite.com/forum (Computers: Chats and Forums)
www.mysite.com/mac-applications (Computers: Software: Operating Systems: Mac OS)
www.mysite.com/unix-application (Computers: Software: Operating Systems: Unix)

Did you even read what I wrote? You should not submit to different categories! The guidelines that you agree to when you suggest a site say not to do that! You risk getting your site banned if you submit to numerous categories! Really bad advice you are giving.

I don't know if you understand what I mean.
Go type in "cnet" in DMOZ search box and see the results.

I understand you perfectly and you really giving bad advice and need to stop. The guidelines are clear. Which bit of then do you not get. You should not submit to more than one category (unless it a regional or topical category).
There are 1000's of sites that have multiple listings - some have 100's of listings. That is an an editors discretion and is within the DMOZ guidelines. What is against the guidelines is submitting to more than one category - big difference. You need to go and read the guidlines rather than keep giving bad advice that can only have negative consequencs for a site.

    Calm down, dude.

I admit that I had a misunderstanding about DMOZ listing before.
But that's why we come to forum to discuss and learn.

Erm, that is WAS different then then the examples given above, it's also completely false according to the countless deeplinks within the ODP itself!

here is a list of HUNDREDS of sites with deep links: http://directory.domaintools.com/internet-statistics/dmoz-listings.php?p=1

WTF? LOL... fair? yeah, tell that to Skrenta & his 20,000 automated deeplinks!

LOL... if I missed that bit, you and the rest of the ODP must have missed the bit I gave about being fair?

Oh, I really don't mind if you are not fair or what you list or do not list... all I'd like to see is some NICE editors being communicating and actually being fair. The ODP is as about as two faced as ANY thing ever could be. Take you for instance... you keep asking from proof from people yet can not even prove you are an editor. Go figure... Another case in point would be me quoting from the add page about how suggesting a site to the wrong category can get your site REJECTED and you following up by saying that is not the case. It's STRANGE that when I quote the guidelines I am wrong, yet when you do it it's some how infallible?
