Wrong seo banned a site who created 12000 backlink in 2 month!!!

New SEO... be very careful

When I was new to DP, I asked a question regarding my one of the competitor who built 12000 backlink in 2 month and I was surprised, many expert suggest that it was possible.. see the thread here

I was doing making my back link slowly but carefully and the result is as below ( my site http://www.smsinhindi.com/ was live on 24 dec 2009)

My Google PR=1
above mentioned competitor PR=0

When I check both site at http://www.seopenalty.com/ to check if anyone has been penalised by Google or not then the result was shocking to me

My site penalty = 0/10
Competitor penalty by Google= 10/10 VERY HIGH Penalty

So, my advise is be careful and don't go for shortcut and black-hat seo.

Thanks for Tip. I always advice webmasters to not link to FFA links ( free for all) it will banned your website or reduce your rank from google

 

Yes, Google are very smart then us most of People thing thy will bit Google and do use some wrong stratgy It's alwasy do SEO by organic way it's will give you slow result but long period and you will not get any harm

I got sandboxed by using the crazy cheap bulk blog posts here in DP. Worst, I got a warning for giving a caution to future takers of those type of advertisement.

 

Be careful and try to get some better link.

Yeah, I've been their too! A couple of years ago I would jump on the latest BH SEO technique. I soon found out that any short term gain was wiped out by the various penalties Google would dish out! White hat all the way for me nowadays!

 

as long as you got a quality link your site will never get banned or be penalize.

 

I think the penalty might be result in linking to bad neighbors or black hat on-page seo but not relate to quantity of backlinks. A large amount of backlinks in a short period might lead to be put in sandbox but not direct punishment, IMO.

Always good to know. Thanks for the info. However I have a question about the definition of “link farms”. A link farm is a network of links all pointing to one domain?

 

It's not speed that matters. It's quality. If you get a ton of quality
backlinks in a short time, no problem. The only day you built enough
was yesterday. If you build 12,000 backlinks from linkfarms, FFA,
and other such rot, you can rest assured you would be buried.
But 12,000 great, perfect, quality, backlinks in 2 months would
not be a problem.

Never ever used short cuts and black hat seo techniques to achieved better results for your online portal, at the end it is a clear cut chances for your website to be banned or sandbox by the main search engine like Google.com having a maximum number of traffic.........

 

I've just tried that tool. One of my sites - which is no 1 in the serps for its keywords - shows up as having a 10 out of 10 penalty. Another site - which is no 4 for keywords - shows up as having a 7 out of 10 penalty.

That worried me as I've NEVER used black hat.

http://tools.lilengine.com/penaltychecker/ is another penalty checker - which gave both sites a clear report.

Would be nice of the tool could give reasons for the penalty.
