CTR 5-6% will the site get banned ?

    One of my optimized website is getting a CTR of 5-6% these days.
    Will it frown Google ?

    What is the way out ?

    I have 20% CTR, no problems. Been running the sites for 3 years.

    That's a relief..I will convey them...I generally happen to see a conversion of 2-3% ...

    My sites vary... some will get spurts of 30% CTR... then most will get less than 1%.

    When I try to tweak those 1% CTR sites it seems like nothing happens.

    I think that it all comes down to a site design or theme that puts the ads in the hottest parts of the page...

    Also, I've noticed that my sites that cater to techies always have a terrible CTR.

    Thanks ! you generous guys out there who are ready to share their exp..
    One thing that i noticed in these tech stuff sites is that Link Ads works best...Specifically 468X15 Just above Title with 1 breaking space.

    Yes, Design n themes n how you mix n match ads surely helps...

    lxGuy , Is there any specific SEO reason for including the url www.171english.com in Location Field ? Plz share..I saw some other web master too recently...

    You don't need to worry about your high CTR.
    Just follow the Google Adsense guidelines. That's it.

    CTR does not count anything if you are playing fair with google you will not feel any problem.

    Google will never ban you for a 5% CTR. Google WILL ban you for fraudulent clicks. Or if they just don't like you, perhaps.

    No. They will not ban you unless you do something they don't like.

    Nothing Like that . I have a 15% CTR currently and before i had 17% . It wont get you banned . Unless you are cheating them

    you got no prob dude, google will not banned you. keep doing your work but make sure you are not involved in invalid clicks if not you will be caught

    I thought it is one of the main goal to achieve high CTR. I never thought people will worry because of high CTR...
