Strange Sound Coming From My Monitor

Yesterday I got weird hissing sound from my monitor for unknown reason.
PC was working well until I started TF2 and then screen went black and said that graphics driver has failed and restored back again. Game crashed and I got this weird noise and when I tried it again screen to this little grains and almost looked like it's going to turn off.
I realized that this noise only appears when there is slightest graphics on my screen for example, auto configuration when I press auto button on my monitor.
So I tried my monitor with some new games, few minutes later and it worked almost perfect, maybe it chopped a bit in some areas.
I took my friends monitor, hooked it up, played for half an hour, without any problem, put my old monitor back in and it works again.
When I turned my PC back again this morning, hissing sound appeared but this time not so loud as before, and I think that's gone now.
So what can it be, monitor, graphics card or something else?

It it's a CRT, just give it a fonzy hit on the side. My old CRTs used to hiss all the time.

I know, I used to do that with old CRT, but I don't feel like hitting TFT display. It's working fine for now, had some minor hissing sounds few hours ago but it looks ok now.

Has your hissing monitor been exposed to a chnage in atmospheric conditions - i.e. damp?

Fill your bathtub full with water, half of it with cold water and half of it with hot water(at least 100 F), toss your monitor in it but make sure NOT to have it connected to the power source to avoid to be electrocuted, throw some soap in it and let it sit for approx 14.28 minutes...after that there should be NO more hissing EVER again, you just performed a Monitor exorcism.... LOOL

    Cheers

I think you may be using an Analog CRT! that only produces sounds

I was just wondering how many webmasters know about monitor inside.. I was right, no one except me. I am a electric engineer, ( not professional )

so, that sound coming from Fly back transformer witch generate high voltage. ( 25000v - 33000v ). I am sure your monitor got dew. and leaking voltage from FBT.

you have to do, open the cover and clean dust in tube, ( not PCB ) or dry it under sunlight. it will work fine.

and, for any trouble like this, contact me guys. I will help you for free. I like to help people.
    thank you.
