    Yes it is safe. Don't worry, it's YAHOO we are talking about here.

    Just use aim, it's better ;P or hotmail because pretty much most people have hotmail. Yahoo Messenger (YIM) is mainly for family friends..

    But if you want to start rolling with the big doggs, then I recommend AIM and HOTMAIL.

    Yahoo messenger is totally safe for chatting with any where like cyber or any other thing.Becoz after completed your chatting & you log out your history was deleted automatically and don’t remember your password for any other PC or Laptop.
