I love when Google emails you a week later stating that an order that they claimed was successful failed. I use PayPal, 2CO, and Moneybookers and for some reason Google is the only one who does this. I am getting tired of this bs and I may request a credit back since they are causing me to lose money when they do this. Here is part the email that was sent to me: Notice the date was placed on the 24th where Google said everything was OK, and they just sent me an email today saying it was rejected well after I already sent off my product.
Google checkout has a long way to go before it can compete with the likes of Paypal which is backed by the the Online giant Amazon
There are pros and cons to both Paypal and Google Checkout. With Checkout you can ensure that someone has actually paid if you check your account. With Paypal, if someone reverses the transaction or cancels an eCheque you will never win a case and you'll end up paying a cancellation charge as well.
That is not true I am a power seller on ebay and use paypal for almost 100% of the payments I get from my website and I have had two buyer try to rip me off and paypal covered me both times so you will not pay a cancellation charge as well. Matter of fact I have never lost a paypal thinking about it and I am the seller.
