Beside of thread posted in a wrong category issues, I would recommend you one thing - PR is nothing and crap link exchange could make your site dead that fast. Your site is new, so you are likely to being accepted in link exchange with the new site. How could these benefirs you? Just a bunch of new site cross linked together and died together.

Bottom Line - Ignore PR and focus on ranking. Building site with quality in mind and deserved ranking will comes.

I always update my website content regularly, I've several websites and their PR already increased..

Content is the king, but the outlinks is also important

my is six month old but still zero PR now so how long it take to increase PR

 

just post quality contents, write quality articles and post them to article directories, and build backlink! there are many way to build backlink, free and paid method. you can search in this forum, good luck!

 

It may be because you are not possibly concentrating on creating linkbacks as well as updating your site.
So try to make more dofollow backlinks and update your site or blog regularly so traffic will increase and you will
get good PR.
Normally PR update at every 3 months.

 

I totally agree with you guy. I built up my site last October. And now its PR is 3. But I do not think PR is everything. People like to buy from my site, because they appreciated my products and service.

Did you get any keywords moving up in ranking?

As far as linkswaping or building I would just focus on backlinks from relevant sites instead of swaps.

 

My three websites PR is improve 1 step a head.

 

I think you should not focus on PR..you should focus on traffics.. google can increase and decrease your PR site.. IMHO Google is playing us in terms of PR increasing.

 

PR increase is a nice ego boost, but I will take a PR3 site with thousands of visitors vs. a PR4 site that nobody visits.

Thanks for bringing it to the point again. Not sure how many times this has been said before. Woooohooooooo, my PR went up too!!! And now what? Nothing, just another number showing in the Google Bar. Did the higher PR cause my sales or traffic to increase too? Not at all. But at least it showed me that obviously the quality of my backlinks got better. I'd rather see an increase in traffic and the SERP's than in the PR of my site. The PR won't earn me any money at all.
