Absolutely if you have the money, and time you can certainly compete as a general arcade it's just that if you focus that same time and effort on niche arcades you'll see the money coming in quicker as time to fruitition is generally lower (i.e. much less competition to rank up on say google). So yeah both are possible , I've just seen easier results on niche sites...
How is the site going, can this sort of site make money quite quickly or does it take a long time to buid it up? thanks for any thoughts.
I was always wonder what is the advantage of having multiple sites? Sorry if the question sounds dumb, but as i think - promoting should be more expensive for multiple sites arather than one. Are those niche related sites?
yeah promoting one site is hard enough . i have a http://online-arcade.info i know that domain isn't that great. how do i monetize this can you tell me please. it don't earn much with adsense
I think all depends on your visitors territory (country). If your visitors are from US etc., then you can earn good with adsense, if your visitors are from India or China etc., there is too hard to benefit with any kind of networks. That is reality. So what i wanted to say - If you want to benefit, one of the main things to care about is where your visitors coming from (country), monetising way comes very second.
by promoting your site to US people (US, Canada, Australia etc.) For example - Using targeted ads, with targeting to those countries etc. (ad networks, which offers country targeting) All this takes time of course, finding cheaper places to advertise in US countries. Usually targeted ads are expensive to those countries (thats why clicks on ads from those countries are well paid too)
Actually Im trying to get all my content ready before advertising it, but I guess if it becomes more popular it can make abit of money on the side.
I have a game site. It was slowly growing since jan 2010. In March the traffic reached as more than 500 visitor per day. 6500 visits and 35,000 pageviews in a month. Then came 28th March. The traffic went down from 500 to 100. I have no clue. even people who used to come to this site directly without referral are not coming. Any idea why this could have happened. Easter could have been a reason. But the traffic has not come back. Any ideas guys!
Traffic to all my sites in general is low, summer period and easter holidays can be slow if kids and users are out of school and enjoying the sunshine. On a positive note got time to do some server upgrades whilst traffic was low and rolled out some new features. My arcade directory also got a PR3 , so was happy.
I own an arcade site : http://funminigame.com Each day I add and bookmark 3 games to about 10 social website . Will this get me good ranking in search engine ?
Guys, is there an ability to create account for games creators so they can upload games themselves on my arcade. I've seen tihs kind of script somewhere, just do not know which. Any advices? Thanks
I've got a site Cartoon Games that I'm trying to rank for the said keyword. I'm currently 9th, and it's been a pain getting up to that spot alone, I have no idea what I should do to get higher. I've been doing a couple SENuke blasts, but it's not enough, what do you guys suggest?
