I think PageRank is used to assess the importance of a webpage, NOT a keyword.

fanofchopin is correct. PR is a measure of a site's supposed authority (ie. how many links it has pointing towards it). PR doesn't change per keyword.

Do you mean your placement in the search engine for a given phrase?

Kris, I've just got to qualify your statement for the newbies
that will ready this. PR is a way of ranking a sites' supposed authority. IT is NOT a way of ranking them for keyword searches in Google. A PR 0 site
can outrank a pr 3 site...

Do a search on the keyword and find yourself. If you're not on page 1, then you're basically nowhere and that's all that really matters :)

Install that google toolbar and go to your website. It will show you what the page rank is. But I don't know if that's what you mean. But you can just type in your keyword and see where you are on the search engine, hopefully page one.

    Hi,
They are right. If you want to know the importance /the authority of a website and its inner pages, you should use google page rank. You should install google toolbar or SEO Quake at your browser to determine this.

If you want to know the ranking of your specific keyword at google or any search engine result page, you simply go to google.com or others and type your specific keyword. However, there are some tools that can track your keyword ranking at search engine.

Just keep in mind that lower PR sites/blogs can beat higher PR sites/blogs in search engine result page. I often see this with mine at google. CMIIAW :)

i agree, PR is for the authority of one's site though some bloggers and seo enthusiasts contend that PR is not that much important....while you can use keyword tool of google for your keywords assessment needs.

Are you asking the way to check your PR of the specific keywords? If it is es, then your question does not make sense at all.

The PR is used to evaluate a web age not a keyword. You can only know your SERP ranking for some specific keywords in your site.

You can check it just by typing the keywords into the SE.
