AdSense for Content Visits: 391,279 Clicks: 387 Page CTR: 0.10% Page eCPM: £0.14 Estimated earnings £56.24 I have not used Adsense all that long, the CTR is very low yeah? What needs improvement, like for example from 387 clicks is £56.24 ok, or should I be doing something to make more, the visits also, I should be trying to do something better, like is the clicks count in relation to the vists bad.
Money looks good CTR is bad. Try placing AdSense in your main content area. With all of those impressions, you should be making hundreds of dollars a day
From the data you show it seems you are only getting about 1 click per 1,000 view to your site. If I were you I would do some AdSense optimization (for example the ads location on your site) and you should see a much greater click through rate. I personally average about 5 clicks per 100 visits, so for you that would be over 10,000 clicks for the same amount of traffic you show here. Hope this helps
Your ctr is too low for that almost 400k visits. Try to re-arrange your ads and monitor by using trial and error.
Cheers for the advice guys , all taken on board, tommorow I will move some things around and see how it works out and test it
Money is nice. CTR could use some work. Have you tried different placement or checked to make sure that your ads that are showing are relevant to your content. I hate when I have a site or page about one thing and get an ad for something completely different.
I don't have as much views as you do, but I have CTR = 1.78%, eCPM = $4.16. I placed a block of 3 ads after the third paragraph of every article on my website. Seems like some people assume that these are article-related links and they click them. Or maybe they just get bored with the articles and want to click on something new to read
Seems to be working guys, I changed not so long ago and very early signs are promising, or at least I think they are: Impressions: 458 Clicks: 9 Page CTR: 1.97% Page eCPM: £1.43 Estimated earnings: £0.66 This was just not longer after the change, I changed the colours on the one I did have, and added a new set of ads nearer the header
