this is a script called php movies , but unfortunately it has not been updated for a while as there are broken links and not all movies are working !! but still nice site though

 

nice site good luck selling it. I would be careful for copyright issues but since you are not "hosting" the movies its just grabbing them from the net you should be good, but remember what happened to pirate bay with there leech site

 

the copyright issue is not a problem cause none of the movies are hosted on your server

 

You're still doing what is known as "contributory infringement", which is still illegal, so the new owner should stay clear of any US servers (or US "friendly" ones) when hosting this.

 

You have Google ads on that site. I am pretty sure they're not allowed on anything 'warez', which is what yours is basically with movies.

 

this is 100% legal its not warez the videos come from legit websites like youku, youtube, google video, there nothing wrong with it

 

i agree with you and i know there are all movie sites which are same . actually the sites dont host the videos just provide links to other sites so the copyright owners need to contact them who hosted the videos not the site which is just having links. because if linking is illegal then google is same . google provide links to every file and all the sites.

Warez sites only link to sites containing the software/apps/music/movies, whatever it be. But they don't have adsense because they know it's now allowed.

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed. I know you're not hosting but in the eyes of Google linking is also bad.

 

Try hosting this site on a U.S. server for any length of time and you'll find out the legalities. Hostgator and other hosting companies suspend sites EXACTLY like this (linking only) every day, including from several members of DP who have lamented about it here. Don't let the "oh, I dont host the movies, so it must be ok" mentality fool you.
