Do a search for "anydomain.com" see what appears after 1st result ... yes, statistics websites. I see some benefits here.

freesitescripts.com is not bad.
Just tried it and checked about 10 sites it submits to and there are a few which had a do-follow link.

 

Yeah I did too. But some of the links it submits don't work anymore.

 

as far as I know this method only help to speed up your site indexing...
you can automate this method by a software called statblaster and it's free..
for SERP, well.. it won't affect that much..

I mean, replace "anydomain.com" with almost any site address you want, for example one of my sites :

Positions 2 to 10 are statistics websites on which i have a back link. So it's not only for indexing, is for building back links, especially diversity IP back links.

You did know that having 10000 signature links on a forum for example is only 1 IP right ?

 

Not all of these stats sites have a do follow backlinks and some don't even have a links in them to point to the site. But some do have a dofollow backlinks, so just use "freesitescripts.com" for few minutes and submit your site. I guess it's worth it.

This can be dangerous

 

This is not much of a help, since most of them will have nofollow or they wont even have links to the list of site..sometime its possible that search engines neglect those links, since they are of less content and to them it appears like a link farm
