hai all while iam doing directory submission the directory site asking me to keep their site link in to my site as receiprocal link.. is it good to keep that kind of links in to my site..?
Reciprocal link would be good if you do exchange with the site the has similar value to yours. However, I do stand on one-way link more than reciprocal since it is easily to be identical.
No, it's not worth if you do reciprocal link from directory there are may directory which you will find those are offer one way link so go with them. Do consider reciprocal link only for your related niche not from any web directory it's my advice
Its good to do link exchange with your niche only. There are So many directory asking for reciprocal if you keep adding all those then u will have so many outbound link, means less reputation in search engine.
As all the people above said it, it is not worth that. You can however go for link exchange with other websites with PR somewhat same as yours and niche totally same as yours. Also use different anchor text every time.
Better if and only if ,that website is related to your domain. Otherwise, do not backlink with other website that are not related to your website domain .

In my opinion reciprocal link from directory is not good for your site its rather you should try to exchange link from site of same theme to your site or quite good PR site
Link exchanges are NOT natural links. Google weeds out unnatural links. You are only linking to the site because they are linking to you. A one way link is ALWAYS better. Chances are very good that google with ignore a reciprocal link. The only time you would want to do it is it will bring you traffic and you don't care about getting credit for the link from google.
Now a days the link exchange process among the websites is just a waste of time, because Google simply ignore these sort of links.......
Yes, But only from relative sites. To excessive reciprocal links will ban your site from google. Try to keep them under 50 Thanks
