Hey DPers, I'm about to start article marketing campaign and I would like to know if there is still hungry crowd in this gaming niche that offers its customers Xbox 360 repair guide. I've heard that Microsoft have resolved the red lights issue but I can't find information if this is for sure. If there is anyone out there promoting this stuff please let me know how's it going (good or bad ). Thanks in advance
I know it's very annoying to refresh your thread by posting replay on your previous post but I really need some help, so if anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. Thank you
Yes, there still is a market for this, however article marketing at this point could prove difficult, as it overly competitive, but good luck with this!
Thank you, I really appreciate your answer. Thanks for your reply, I just made my first sale with article marketing, I know it's competitive but I will try my best
Yes, there is still a market for this niche - I have a little experience in it If you need any pointers or any help let me know? Chris
Lots of competition but I can see their being a market for this for at least another 2 years. I think the next gen of consoles with not be seen till 2012. (thats if the world does not end ) All I would advise if you do try this niche is going in full blooded if you are half hearted about it then you will not make no money.
Thanks for discouraging me , just kidding. I know that this have a lots of competition but I think that I can find some keywords that are not so competitive and rank them high (I already find couple). However this is my first time promoting with article marketing, so I'm a newbie and I really want to see some money in my CB account to gain motivation and experience. I found writing for Xbox repair easy and not hard at all so that's why I pick this niche. If you guys have some strategy about article marketing please let me know. You can send me a PM or just write it here . Thanks a lot
I'd suggest picking a product with less competition. If you're new to article marketing, attempting to target high competition niches isn't a good idea. You might find a few keywords, but you need to focus on a product that you can pick out 15-20 good keywords for in order to really pump out an article marketing campaign that's worth a damn. You don't want to chase big dogs' tails when you're just getting started with article marketing. Find a niche that will be easier to dominate and work hard on it. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah I know that, I will get another product to promote but now I need to experience the basics like how many backlinks should I do and how many effort should I put in to rank for a single low competitive keyword, so that's why I picked this product because I find it easy to write for. This is not my article marketing campaign this is just my test on how the things will work out. That's why I will target only little amount of keywords just to rank them on 1-3 spot on Google and see how much work will I need. Not that I don't want a couple of bucks from this "test".
Instructables (dot) com has lots of free resources for xbox 360 . They have videos showing how to fix the "3 red rings of death" and more.
Thanks. I should have started thread about my exact journal but it seems most of the members here find the journals quite annoying. Maybe in the future I will open a blog/site for that matter. I really want to keep track of what I'm doing, how I'm doing it and most important thing that I would start a journal for is to take the advice from the wiser affiliates and to help other newbies start from somewhere.
Regardless of how competitive the niche is.. If you focus and apply yourself you will make some money. Having said this make sure you research and find out as much as you can about article marketing
I know plenty, but of course I'm willing to learn more. I will try to learn every single day. I'm about to read PeteHols Journal to see how he did it, I've heard that there is a lot of interesting and useful stuff there. However thanks for encourage me to try this niche. P.S. Since I'm willing to learn more I would like to ask you how many products you are promoting and how many keywords you are targeting per product? Let's say I'm willing to make 500$ monthly so I would like to know your statistics about reaching this goal, I know that this depends on many things but I want to get some image in order to motivate myself. Thanks
@mentis Regarding your question about how much you need to do to rank well even for low competition keywords - you should consistently build backlinks to your articles every now and then to ensure that - a) it ranks decently b) it sticks in that ranking spot
I don't want to open a new thread for posting questions so I will just throw the questions here, If you can help me that would be nice. So here's the question/s : Do you guys use multiple accounts when building backlinks for your articles? I mean will I get some better ranking if I have 4-5 accounts with different ids on ex. GoArticles and put links pointing back to my main article or there is no difference of sending links from different article directories accounts ?
