How long?

How long does Google takes to show linking page. I have my site, its been 1 year now, no backlinks showing for it on google, but plenty on yahoo, msn, and others. Is this normal?

 

Yes I have also seen similar kind of thing happening with some other sites, google does not always show all the links that a site get opposite to what we get in yahoo or other search engines...

 

This is normal for Google. Google does update links all the time but only reflect a few times. You will see link update to public around 1-3 months each round. If you want to see real number of links according to Google without to wait, go for Google Webmaster Tools --> Get your site verified --> Wait for a few days and you would see.

 

it may be due to no follow link or other problem....

 

Google is like that they doesn't show the actual backlinks like Yahoo. But you can see how much backlinks you have actually with Google by login into your Google webmaster account.

If you mean to say that you cannot see your backlinks on google search engine, dont worry. Google usually do not show the exact number of backlinks for a site like yahoo or msn. You can check the backlinks of your site in the google webmaster tools.

 

Google seems to look at backlinks differently then other sites.

 

I have never seen many of my backlinks with google - I was pretty worried in the beginning haha.

 

Check how many of them are nofollow.
Google only shows quality oneway backlinks.
