recently, i found a word-word-word.com domain for sale. it has more than 100,000 exact searches i plan to redirect the "word-word-word.com" to a easy to remember "word.com" meanwhile i try to improve the SEO of "word-word-word.com" to gain organic traffic however, if you want to advertise which domain should you use? the word-word-word.com or word.com? please share your views on using word-word-word.com domain to gain traffic to your word.com domain thanks!
Use word.com in your advertising as people tend to remember short name domain instead of those with "-" in between. You may forward your visitors from word-word-word.com to word.com.
Hi if I have got you correctly word.com is your domain, right? Just in case if you make up your to sell your word.com domain please inform me
If your domain word-word-word.com doesn't have any content but just redirects to word.com, google will only index word.com (check out the google webmaster centre under "moving your website to another domain"). I think it would be better to redirect word.com to word-word-word.com instead, and use word.com only in print.
You can do this however I suggest for around 3 month try to build backlinks and create a standalone for the site word-word-word.com first and after establishing it for sometime then you redirect it to your word.com I found out it gies the perfect boost for my site.
if after 3mths of building backlinks of the word-word-word.com i redirect it to word.com, will it affect its ranking in google? since google will only index word.com
