Selling TV-Show Site, NCIS / NCIS LA - Automatic Updates

    This site is new, was created ~3 weeks ago. It is 100% automatic, it grabs the episode list from a site then gets megavideo/zshare video links from another site.

    Right now I have the updating script run ~9pm Tuesday until 11pm Wednesday (ncis episodes air tuesday), it is ran every hour.

    The script can easily be changed to use different shows, you have all the rights to the script, I will not be using it again.


    You must have the following to run this site:
    - CRON Job
    - PHP 5 (4 should be fine)
    - Mysql



    Also, there is NO revenue from it, I decided to keep CPALead off of it until it reaches a certain amount of daily visitors.


    Traffic is coming from:
    85% Direct
    8% Search Engines
    4% Emails
    3% Other

    Yes the design can be changed easily. With any php script you will need to remember to keep the small amount of php inline with the html (not advanced, it is just if/elses and loops, all other processing code is done in the class file)

    The site runs off of 3 files:
    - index file
    - class file
    - auto updater file

    does it update all videos once a week or just look for new ones, where does it grab content from? pm me please

    When it updates, it grabs the newest list of episodes (so when a new season begins, it will grab those episodes). It then checks to see if the episode had already been added previously. If the episode has not been added, it then goes and gets the video link. If there is no video link (ie its a future episode) it will check again next time the updater runs.

    I see the problem, dp's whois query strips out - from the domain and lists it as watchncis.info

    the domain is http://www.watch-ncis.info
