Check my site here : ourgreenhome.info
I made this dropdown with CSS only, so it won`t work in IE6.
Just install the Firebug extention in Firefox and look for my drop down`s code, and apply it to your site, with the changes you want

I think, its not viable to create a drop down menu, when it cant be used in all browser.

I need something like mcafee.com menu or professional type ones.. How do we code? when we have a designed menu.

You can do it with jquery if you know it. Otherwise you can go to justdreamweaver.com and buy a dreamweaver addon/plugin that allows you to custom make them. I've never tried it though so can't give you any feedback on it.

Just search on google as drop down menu generator

you can do it easily. there are lot of drop down menu generators, html, java or anything.

    here is some example. http://www.ricocheting.com/js/drop.html

Maybe clear yourself up a bit then you may get thorough answers.

What is it that your actually trying to do?

A roll over/drop down navigation bar or just a drop down index what gives you a list of options once you have clicked it?

    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/dropdowncontrol.htm

Try that or look on dynamic drive for alternative solutions.
