Thanks samser, the very reason that we are still arguing over global warming is the reason why it is growing day by day. We can have development and environment both but corruption doesn't go with the environment and the earth is paying the price for it!

I live in Boston. Two weeks ago, it snowed, then the next day it was 60 degrees F, then the next day it rained. We get that dramatic climate change all the time.

A few years back, I lived in San Jose, California. Every day was the same - 75F and sunny.

Does that mean global warming has been affecting Boston for the past 200 years, but global warming doesn't exist in California, hmmm???

Should I call you a "valley"? (If you were there long enough you might know where I was living by that comment.)

i think the coastal lines are in trouble, with the melting ice caps and rising water levels. i don't know if that's from natural earth processes or global warming but its a concern.

Is the environmental movement responsible for global warming?

If it wasn't for the environmental movement of the 60's, 70's and 80's, we'd enjoy clean nuclear power today just like Europe. That means less coal power plants and less fossil fuel power plants.

Funny how one email can undo several conferences with EPA, books released, articles written, experiments done and theories proven.

It is impressive. We are still combating the ghost of Arian supremacy after a World War, millions dead, and a new govt. in Germany. I guess some bullshit dies easier than others, eh?

    WHAT theories "proven"?

I've never seen a "global warming" theory satisfactorily proven That is, I've never seen (and I'm choosing my words carefully here) a comprehensive macro-environmental experiment where the deleterious results were honestly predicted beforehand using an accurate model.

The theories would be the results of the experiments done if proven correct. Just because something isn't idolized doesn't mean its not there.

I chose my words carefully - you did not. I have no idea what your above statement is supposed to mean.

Just because an experiment cant be cited, means its not there.

As I've repeatedly stated in different ways on this thread, I'd welcome a direct link to a comprehensive experiment that includes raw data. As a scientist with over 25 years experience, I can't use someone else's conclusions without detailed data.

So far, no one in this thread has been able to do that.

In related news, has anyone else noticed that since the whole global warming fraud scandal broke, Al Gore has been in hiding?

    British Parliament has rolled over:
    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/03/30/google_integrates_flash_with_chrome/

The whole global warming scare has accomplished it's aims anyway - the entire carbon credits scam has siphoned off money from corporations and made wealthy people like Al Gore even more wealthy, while raising prices on the middle class and doing absolutely nothing to help the environment.
