Best Social Bookmarking Software?

I was wondering what is the best social bookmarking software? please tell me how long you have used it. If you have used others and why it's awesome. Thanks for the help. I'd also love an example of a site you used it on if possible.

 

The best solution is to code your own bookmarking tool. If you're not good on coding you can easily hire a freelancer or even someone here on the forum to code it for you. I'm tired of commercial software that works for a while and then the social bookmarking sites update their CMS and nothing works anymore. Webmasters with a decent coding skills have an enormous advantage in this game

no commercial bookmarking tool can do decent job in bookmarking. there is bookmarking demon that i tried but have to say was not too impresed with it. the list it comes with is crappy and only has a few real bookmarking sites in it. rest is all junk pligg and scuttle sites. on the top of it, you will need to setup all your accounts with login pw to make the tool work. too expensive tool just to submit to junk plig and scuttle sites in my opinion.

aside from that, there is socialmarker that submits to a few sites which you can give a try. you can also try onlywire but as zexy said, no tool is capable of submitting to a good list of real social bookmarking sites. either you develop your own tool or go manual

 

The two that I have tried are SENUKE and Big Mikes Social Bot. Neither one have produced good results for me. For the most part with both of them my links never get indexed. So I don't use the tools anymore and honestly dont bother with social bookmarking that much anymore.

 

Try BookmarkWiz. It does an amazing job and it continues to do so.

This is my personal experience too. I use my own custom made tools for submitting to social bookmarking sites and I have to constantly update them (even though we're talking about relatively small fixes and changes) in order for them to work. My tools are not for sale though

 

The issues I have had with using social media for business is relevance. In terms of using primarily Facebook and Twitter as the leaders, it is better to create and use a Facebook page and not your personal profile. To that end, GoDaddy.com just released a new tool that will automatically post to your Twitter and Facebook PAGE. You can also attach pics and video, so this is a mini video distribution platform. Right now it is small in scope, but I don't want to post to my FB profile; I want to post to my FB PAGE and this is the only tool I have found that does this.

I'll echo the other person's thoughts. BookmarkWiz makes social bookmarking a breeze. Now the success rate might only be 50% or so, but you can do a lot in a short amount of time.
