you could buy yourself a dedicated server and resell hosting to other people.. with good marketing strategies you could double up in 6 months. Let's say you need 30 clients to earn 100$ a month.

There are websites sold here everyday that have 9 or 10 month payouts. That is a 100%+ return on capital. Trying to double up in 6 months will just lose your money in all liklihood. There is an old Wall St. saying that pigs eat but hogs get slaughtered.
I'd buy some Apple stock. Although it would only be about 2 shares worth. Then everytime you get another 500 buy more shares.. this thing will clear 300 points by Christmas.
