Multiple keyword phrases on single page?

Multiple keyword phrases on single page.

I am trying to decide whether I should create two separate web pages for two key phrases or point them at single page in a very competitive market place (21,000,000 competitors), The issue is again clouded by the fact that both phrases share a common word.

I am looking at the phases “Thailand holidays” and “Thailand hotels”.

Should I point back-links for both phrases to:

www.example.com/thailland with backlink anchor text “Thailand hotels” or “Thailand holidays”

Or should I create two separate pages and point a different set of backlinks at each, e.g.

www.example.com/thailland-hotels with backlink anchor text “Thailand hotels”

www.example.com/thailland-holidays with backlink anchor text “Thailand holidays”

Obviously the on-page would be optimised accordingly for each individual phrase or both phrases and I would do some variation in the anchor text.

What do you think, one page or two?

I think back links with anchoring those keywords in title of back link from high page rank website is more important . Also keep the density of both keywords as much as possible in upper, middle, and lower part of web page in text content after a distance in between paragraph. Your second idea about making a SEO based URL is also effective but i thailand is common in both cases so no much effect of this so keep them in one page but get proper links back with right anchor text .

    Good Luck

    Cheers!

Yes you can. There's no problem on that. Your site will show in search engine whatever keyword phrase you are going to use for search.

Basically you can target one or two keywords per page of the website to get more accurate results for the said web pages from different search engines.......

    Hi Friend,

In your both keywords "thailland" word is common and in your page url also included "Thailand" word.
Then Automatically "Thailand" word, 3-times repeating in your page & that's why your page density is increasing.
Keep 1page for using both keywords & Optimize properly...:)

You should got them separated. It would be much harder to get only one page content ranked for all keywords contained in the page. One page should focus for not over 2-3 keyword to be most effective. The more keywords you focus on each page, the less important for each keyword will be.
