Buying [Wanted] Low Price VPS onshore/offshore

    I am looking to buy a VPS with basic specs, here are the requirements

    5 – 10GB - Disk
    300-1000 GB - Data Transfer
    256MB - Memory
    512MB - Burst Memory
    FREE Setup
    1 Dedicated IP
    Online Control Panel
    24x7 Reboots & Reinstalls
    24x7 Remote Software Installations
    VNC
    Centos
    Unmanaged/Semi-Managed
    99.9% Uptime (I know it is difficult in this price but will buy big package if experience is good with the company)
    Anywhere in the world

    Budget $3-$4/month.

    Any location, I don't mind that. But should be up and running, least downtime. Also I need recent CentOS 5.4

    Bump your budget up to $10, and you'll find someone.

    Check out http://www.lowendbox.com/ (It takes promo's off DP and WHT and other forums and posts them in a blog with the pricing and details. It's a handy tool if you're looking for a 'Low End Box')

    256MB RAM is to Low, you can't run cPanel/WHM on 256MB RAM(Every time - Out Of Memory Error :) )

    also i think you need cPanel/WHM or Direct Admin? is yes then you need to pay $6 to $15 per month for control panel license.


    best option is purchase master reseller hosting or share VPS with someone.

    Hi,

    I already got 2 Alpha reseller accounts but would like to do some experiments with Linux environment. I am not going to host any public website on this server just tweaking and playing around.

    Hmm, you need for experimental purpose only?

    for 5GB webspace you're lacking space for additional control panel like cpanel,webmin etc.

    Their VPS solution starts from $24/month. That is expensive.

    Then stick with shared hosting. If you're not willing to spend the money to get a good VPS then you're not likely to find anything reliable

    you need to pay at least $6 for VPS and $13+ for Control Panel License?

    Offshore VPS for $4? :)

    best option is Master Reseller hosting of Reseller Hosting, you don't need to pay for cpanel,etc...
