Great new contest for a new website that is being built.
The logo should include these three words

    Event Leadership Institute

The logo will be for a website that will offer courses, classes and progressive education, training, & insights in the event management space.

***Contest ENDS Thursday April 1st at 7pm EST. (We have the right to choose a logo before the contest is over and end it earlier or extend we do not have enough posts in the contest if needed)***

    Things to consider
    • The logo should suggest or imply Thought Leadership
    • Sophisticated and professional
    • Indicate best in class (the highest standard) for event education
    • No clipart or balloons, confetti or other “party” imagery
    • Possible acceptable imagery could include (but doesn’t have to):
o Profile / silhouette of a person with a clipboard and wearing a headset. Looking “in charge” during an event.
o Upwardly mobile imagery (e.g. ladder, stepping stones, etc.)

    The fine print
    1. All designs must be original.
    2. All artwork/icons must also be original.
    3. Copyright will transfer to us when payment received.
    4. Final delivery after we select a winning design must be delivered
within 24 hours. Your delivery will include all formats for print and web including PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF, PDF, PSD as well as a gray scale version for faxing. The source code should be vector based 300 DPI for print version in PSD so we can re size down or up.
    5. Payment will be made to the designer via Paypal on receipt of the
    the final delivery.

Why do contest holders never know that PSD's cannot resize up and down without losing quality.
Aside from using the pen tool the remaining graphic is raster. I wish CH's would get an education before
    starting contests for clients.

The standard is EPS or AI.

PSDs (Photoshop Documents) can be enlarged to any size without loosing quality (same as vectors) using shapes, paths.
If not aware of this please PM me I will send a sample .psd file to check this phenomenon?.
This information is for those who believes that .psd files can't be re sized with no loss in quality.
    Thanks.

ChewysMom: thanks for post. prefer the version with the arc underneath the figures but can we do something more linear and use 5 point stars instead

crowquill - regarding your post at 10:11 circle with star is not working. Can we try something without a star
Maybe a Profile / silhouette of a person with a clipboard and wearing a headset. Looking “in charge” during an event going up a ladder, or steps or maybe on top of a mountain peak.
Lets try a different color then orange.. Maybe Green and Gray?..

Sorry Crowsquill try also putting the words in the same size. Maybe the three words are the "building blocks" or steps?..
