Hello, I have game blog, i it seams that hacks for games are more popular that games. I am thinking about posting about these game hacks, are game hacks allowed by adsense TOS??? Thanks in advance.
The short answer is no, because NO-CD patches and other cracks violate U.S. DMCA law by reverse engineering copy protection schemes. Linking to this content is not allowed for Adsense publishers, just the same as if it was a link to the full cracked game.
Thx for reply, But i didn't mean no-cd patches and crack. I mean like map or dota hacks for warcraft 3 and etc... I think this not violate U.S. DMCA law.
User created content like maps and legal mods should be ok - just make sure they have some sort of license that states they can be redistributed freely.
The weirdest thing is that i have found many large sites that have game hacks (not no-cd patch and cracks) and adsense...
Still there is a differents between game hack sites, and game related sites that also got some hacks/tips/tricks on there site.
