Rankings dropped from 1st place to 7-10th place for all keywords

I have not changed anything/did not edit anything on my site/did not buy or sell links, etc.

My site had been ranking 1st for many months now........ but the top 3 keywords for it have dropped from 1st to 4th, 6th, and 9th place. The keywords don't have much competition either!
My site is still displaying sitelinks even when in 9th place........
The rankings are the same in google.com, google.ca, google.co.uk

Also, in google webmaster tools, my sitemap has this. I am not sure if this has changed though: Total: 268, Indexed: 117
Also, in webmaster tools, under crawl errors, there is only 3 errors under "not found" and these are just regular wordpress post with "&source=video&vgc=rss&usg=AFQjCNEtVWSYSqBJNoJGNdCuHGEqVlSQ3w%2F/page/2/" at the end. So there is no way I can fix these errors and I doubt they would be the problem here.

Am wondering why it was penalized all of a sudden? Any help would be appreciated......

I don't think google penalize your site, since you still have those rank (it's just lower), if you're being penalized you will lost it all (not just lower, but disappear completely from google)

Google might have reviewed the SERPs for those keywords and ranked the first page manually.

First you need to check, where you submit your website in SE and then checked from which websites you exchanged links. One and the most important factor is back links as my all friends said and i agreed 100%. i suggest you to Check those websites resources page which you already exchange links in the past, is your website is still on the pages or removed. you need to done this process first, then we'll measure. If you think your site will always be in top list then u will have to do seo in time to time because they are more lot of more competitiors in the market so every person want to bring in top list in ur keywords
