I expect no changes and never do. I do however hope for positive changes, Eitherway our blog does not depend on pagerank completely. It is good to see if your work gets noticed by google and they boost your PR a bit, but it isnt the end of the world if they do not increase your PR. PageRank sometimes tricks people in to focusing on the wrong tyoe of marketing, you can have a PR 6 site that has low conversions and revenue, or a PR 1 site that has huge revenue... My point is ignore pagerank and promote your site to/for people not just to Google and PageRank, and your pagerank will grow naturally.

I don`t think Google pagerank update has started...it was just a little lie.
Usually Google updates it very quickly, in a few days...this thread has 9 days and I still don`t see any changes to my sites ( and I should see )

    Well according to
This thread won't make it to the 12th page. Also most probably sawz will lock it before that if he's bored enough.

I don't understand how some people are saying that PageRank doesn't matter.Google says that it matters and they have no reason to lie or mislead.

I have an idea. How about when someone asks about PR, everyone that thinks PR is worthless NOT CLICK THE THREAD. Then I won't have to read through your worthless posting saying your opinion.
Does PR matter? It most certainly can. Unless your site has an outrageous number of daily hits, then PR is one of your best forms of being able to sell links and advertising on your site. I am able to keep some of my 'hobbie' websites going because I am able to get revenue based on the PR. Those people could care less what I rank for. Because the FACT still remains that PR is based on a set of parameters that means your site has good links and such. There isn't really any other way to get some of these trust factors. Everyone who thinks PR should go away and doesn't do anything scroll down to the Buy/Sell section and look at links sales.
To answer your question, historically the PR updates have been real close to end of the quarters, which mean within a week. However last year was much different than other years (this one included) so we can only guess.

Hope for a PR2 at least, my blog is new and even if PR is not important, i don't like to see a N/A as PR...

My blog http://mysiteranked.com has been prO for a year now which is annoying as I put quite a lot of work into it, but it does get very high traffic so google can kiss my ass on the pr side of things.

I have my webdesign website that I never update nore link build with it and traffic is quite low yet that went from pr0 to pr3 which doesn't mate sense does it?

I am expecting PR 3 in one and PR 5 in the other of my websites, I didn't really work so hard after the last PR update but I expect to see some improvement anyway

I always try for PR1 and have achieved it on several sites. Good PR is crucial as many viewers will not look past the first page in search results.
