You will get the mail sooner or later. All Paypal mails are not delivered on same time. Wait 24 hrs, if you get the mail then sure something good is cookin up .

I also got am mail from Paypal about Paypal Debit Card.
When i click on link then i am being redericted to Paypal homepage.
Is this mail specially for Indian Paypal users?

 

I can't vouch for the email that you received because I haven't seen it, but Pay Pal has offered a MC debit card for some time now, so that part is indeed true.
As far as the legitimacy of what you have received...when I got my first Pay Pal debit, my account had to be active for 6 months...not 60 days.
I would really check to make sure that this is a legitimate Pay Pal email, unless they have lowered the standards for issue.

Seems skeptical that they would just be rolling this out in India and lowered it to 60 days, but then again, I have had mine for some time, I guess it's possible.

I have two paypal accounts but received the mail only to one account. Btw I am from India.

 

It's interesting because at the same time, eBay (Pay Pal's parent company) is closing it's Indian affiliate program and eBay India all together, and closing down the Indian accounts by April 10th that don't drive traffic to other eBay programs.

If you think it's good, think again. Better just shop your money online, there are kinda high "fees" for these kind of thing, not like you buy something online with paypal. Here's the customer review ..

which type of paypal account you are having? It seems they will provide it for premium or business account only.

 

i do sense something is highly mis-conceptulized and the reason i am saying so it is because of the link that is posted in the form - if you people keenly look at the page that opens for the signup of paypal debit card - and the login link on the landing page within that offer - the link lands to paypal.com/US - so you can easily realize that something is not correct with the offer or the landing page.

But what paypal needs to do is to accept Indian Debit cards.

 

I don't know why some people have not got that email, might be some problem with paypal, you will get it later on for sure.
those who got email are not able to access the application form, so the application form might be under construction, so wait for some time and you will be able to get it.

 

Surely if this is the situation then there is no problem at all... but i do think that there is some technical error in sending those emails to indian paypal users - as i dont think it is meant to be for india - as because if it was for india - then they must have done at the time when the withdrawal to indian banks were not allowed - due to RBI regulation - but when all the things reinstated then to issue paypal debit cards WHY?

though paypal debit cards will make life very very very easy as there is a feature to instantly access the paypal funds without actually transferring it

keeping my fingers cross in a hope that this starts for indian users as well.
