Low revenue again?

I'm down over 50% the last 2 days and traffic is the same if not better. Anyone else seeing a huge drop?

 

Yes.I'm down about 50% ish as well, I posted a thread here yesterday, I thought that the stats weren't updating properly, but I guess this was it. Low days again.

 

Bigrollerdave you still make more then almost all of us. So, i wouldn't complain to much.

Anyway give it some days to see if your earnings go up again.

 

Haha but even people making a lot want to make more. I'm not upset at all trust me I just wanted to see if everyone was having the same problem.

i am down like 20% - my traffic is a little less so that could be it - but i also started using ad blocking to block irrelevant ads - has anyone else tried ad blocking and has it hurt your revenue?

 

There are many explanations for this. Sometimes yahoo doesnt serve the ads properly of efficiently. For example instead of a recatangle producing 2-4 individual ads it produces one large ad.

YPN's revenue is up and down. Hopefully it will balance out when they are out of Beta.

 

Come on people THINK....What just happened this week ??

The majority of the kids went back to school this week accross the US. They dont have access to the computers yet as the need a signed form from the parents. This low traffic will be like this for a week or so till all get back to normal and your Rev and traffic will be better then it was during the summer.

My traffic has increased over the past 2 weeks. MY revenue has gone down though. Read properly before posting next time, please.
Edit: Here is what I see. Like I said, my traffic has increased, but my RPC has droped by about 40%, including the number of impressions. So, the ads are not loading all the time, or we are seeing 2 ads, in the 300X250 boxes, instead of 4, and 3 ads in the 728X90 and 120/160X600 instead of 4. YPN needs to get their mind correct or they will lose about 50% of the publsihers if this keeps hapenning.

 

YPN is doing so bad I'm going to start using Adense again on my sites instead. This is sad, the text ad boom is coming to a grinding halt.

It's now almost 3:30 PM EST - My total earnings for today from 5 sites using YPN, is slightly under 60 cents Last month on this day it was over $12.00 by now. I struggled with this super drop from Aug 17 and the rest of the month. Folks said once Sep got here it would bounce back up...... I am wondering if maybe all of Sep isn't going to be worse than Aug.

What is incredible, is I got one click from Adsense on my couple pages I still have Adsense on, and look:

Depending on your demograph it may be that school started around this time. I started on the 30th of august which was early but my myspace site has seen a pretty good drop over the last few days.

 

I'm using same keyword and same website.. why did RPC dropped from $1.64 to $1.10?

 

I'm not buying the summer & going back to school thing.
I think something is going on. My traffic has never been better & if I make a buck today I'll be lucky. The other day was just 23 cents. I'm getting almost 2000 uniques a day. Also my RPC dropped in half.

 

You are lucky to have RPC above a $ many are not that lucky as you are...
