Thousands of emails are forwarded in chains millions of times daily. The college students constitute a big part of forwarders. because they are too young to understand the black marketing involved and they are in touch with many people of their age group, moreover forwarding a mail is free and they have regular access to internet.
When you forward an email to all your friends ( without even checking the list , just select all from options menu ) the email addresses got attached and forwarded. Spammers copy those emails and build their list of emails with names ( not optin, completely illegal , but afterall you have helped them to do so ) the more number of times an email is forwarded , more email it contains. Those spammers then send you their junk mails and fill your inbox with rubbish stuff. So think before you forward something. Even it is worth sharing with your friends, check your send to list manually and keep the email addresses in the BCC field and not in TO or CC field. Do not promote spammers.

    Regards.

I am so sick of such emails myself. Forward this and you will get this and that. It is so annoying.
whenever i get such mail I press reply all and tell the sender that please remove me from his crap list.

For some reason I stopped receiving such emails some time ago.
I hated them all and never forwarded a single one.

I used to receive such emails when I was in college but now for some reason I am not getting any such mails. More over I simply delete any email from unknown person stating any worldlingos.

    Thanks

I received maybe two in the last year. Neither were worth forwarding. The last time I forwarded one was maybe 3 or 4 years ago.

I believe this is just more evidence that the internet and email is becoming a mature medium of communication and childish things like email chains are decreasing.

    and
You do not recieve such males because of your friends circle type. They are probably all professionals. If you were in some college or effortless job ( a job where you get enough time to enjoy internet daily ) then your view might have been different. :)

Me too. I never intend to mind this kind of email as I know someone will also get mad at me when I send this to them. So I just keep it to myself and delete it.

I've never seen the need some people feel to push these messages along to everyone they know, when 99% of the time its nothing but spam or some kind of scam. Disinformation can spread very quickly with citizen "robots" mass-forwarding all the junk they get, before stopping to think about the plausibility of the message they're about to unleash.

    I love that email.

Personally I love the spam I get. This is simply because most of it is so poorly written that it is hilarious, and I love the fact that even with the worst sounding scams, people still fall for them and it makes me feel smug because I am not that stupid :p
