Is Cloud hosting another form of hardware and resources efficiency in economic crisis country like US ? And the impact of Cloud Hosting in the future is still not sure. Could be major changes in current hosting management software.

Interesting question. Here are some google news results for cloud hosting as I write this:

    >>>Cloud Hosting: Hostway Attracts $110 Million in Funding‎ - 3 hours ago
Hostway Corp., which specializes in web hosting and cloud hosting services, has attracted $110 million in financing to support a “continued growth plan. ...

    >>>SoftLayer Partners with Cloudkick to Provide Cloud Hosting Tools‎ - NewsBlaze - 13 related articles »

    >>>Rackspace Named “Bronze Sponsor” of Cloud Expo East‎ - SYS-CON Media (press release) - 101 related articles »

But still it is a budding technology. Will love hear from someone who has some experience with it, and above all does it support reselling :)???

If you are not sure, better do not do that at all.

Cloud hosting seems to be very much be in all our futures. I do not think it will go away but only get bigger. Of course, it isn't for every situation but it seems to be taking over more and more areas.

Cloud is growing at an insane rate. The providers I consult with for hosting discounts and consulting have some amazing Cloud setups. The redundancy is awesome and the ability to scale at the click of a button is really nice.

Cloud hosting is basically a service built on top of existing virtualization technology. It is difficult to compare hosts because many tend to use different virtualization products and then add their own custom technology on top of it. For a small website starting out, getting a normal VPS is advised. If "Cloud hosting" is more expensive than "normal" VPS, make sure you're paying for a service you will use and not marketing hype.

Cloud Hosting simply excellent. Now a days you start your own cloud by spending less than $1500 USD. After we moved our shared hosting clients to from a dedicated server to cloud servers, we were able to achieve 100% uptime easily. The resource were also distributed well, and growing up was never easier.
As a hoster and cloud hoster, i am very sure that cloud hosting will come to dominate the dedicated server industry. There only very few applications where dedicated server outperform cloud but for rest all cloud is the best.
