At last I have found the forum I need

Hi everyone,
I am carrying that ghastly tag "Internet Newbie", and desperate to rid myself of it. I have my Wordpress blog, page 1 on Google for one keyword & then nothing.

NIL TRAFFIC

So here I am with seemingly endless threads & I hope many sources of assistance, my do I need it.

Welcome, daiarian! What kind of search numbers did that keyword show, as well as the ones you're not ranking for? Are your titles and tags optimized, and how much off-site SEO have you been doing? Also, how long has your site been up? The answers to these questions may help us figure out what you can do to increase traffic.

My answers illustrate what a novice I am. When I entered my keyword in Google there were 30,000 pages and I was number 3 on Page 1 (is that what you mean?)
Tags optimised! I really have done nothing yet as I don't really understand the concept. My site has been up since the beginning of March. Off site SEO,again not really sure what this means.

I really am still at first base.
