Thanks praveen. It has always been a plaesure to work with you.
And well the prices I generally work for is,
    400-600 word article: 20$
    600-800 word article: 30$
But that price is not set in stone. If its a basic project I will probably accept a lower price. If you want an advanced article which requires me to do a lot of reserch, I will probably charge more.

    Hello friend,

I personally feel you are not charging too much, especially if your articles are well-written and top quality. :D

I think the negative mentality that article writers are mere 'hobbyists' must be discarded. :(

    Cheers!

Yeah. But with people selling them for 3$, some people do expect you to give it away free.

    Shabda, again, you are right.

But I discovered such articles are not top-quality: they lack strong content, poor editing, lack-luster proofing. And at the end, buyers end up editing them in one way or the other.

Again, many people are using those $3 contents for adsence websites and related ventures, and NOT for serious projects online or offline.

It's good to see a writer pricing their services based on the actual work done. :)

I second that! Shabda, don't worry. There are some writers, myself included, actually charging considerably more than your rates. :)

It goes along the lines of, "You get what you pay for!"
