    I guess, if You have dealt with insurance, loan and forex and You got click from US, It's usual to get $5 a click.

    Don't be panic.

    Its possible only with adsense. Those kind of high advertisers trust only adsense and you can get those kind of earning per click with adsense only.

    to find high paying keywords. You can go in adwords keyword tool. Then in show options see with Avg cpc cost.If its high you can expect a good Cpc revenue. As far i think around 40% is been paid to publishers. I dont no about revenue sharing and nobody can prove the ratio.
    So better think you can get around 40% to 50% might be less. but you can get easily a keyword with $5 or more per click.
    BUt you should be good to make the on page keywords optimization so google machine shows the high paying keywords, to which you were targetting
