Marketing for a classifieds site

Hi guys,

Just started a new classifieds site for Free classifieds in Australia. Just looking to see if you guys have any great ideas for me in order to kick start the sites content in getting people to place ads.

Depending on your budget, you can do some CPM or CPC campaigns.

 

Well it's very tough as your competing against ebay / loot / gum tree but I recommend adwords.

 

Three tips: 1) specialize, 2) specialize, 3) specialize

Don't try to be everything to everyone, you'll wind up being nothing to anyone.
Pick something to focus on... product category, location, etc. and be the big fish in your little pond. Once you establish a beach head (excuse the marine metaphors) you can expand from there.

I think every one is new when we start new thing. But after using we think that this is so easy I can do it by eyes closed. keep doing to make things easy to use.
