Refunds past 7 days > Refunds past 7 months

Thanks to their new checkout page sales didn't increased to much but refunds last 7 days were bigger than all refunds for past 6 months. And this is for things that stop working after refund, not crappy ebooks.

    Thank you Clickbank!

I just hope that all the vendors that sell valuable products move away from you.

Hmm, what are you promoting? I personally haven't seen any refunds from the new changes... well atleast for now.

And I thought they changed the checkout page back to the way it was before??

Edit: Actually, I just checked the checkout page of a random vendor, and I don't see the checkout page with the satisfaction guarantee. It's back to the old one for me..

They finished their testing and removed it for now.
The nightmare may be back in the future (as they told me).

I agree , if they do this move it will leave clickbank with only ebook type of products
and only software that dosent have actual value - the type of products where the vendor invests very little in them and cost him nothing so he dosent care about refunds,
any product that costs money to the vendor for monthly maintanance or per user query
or anything that has actual value in $$ will likely leave clickbank as soon as they implement this change.

i hope that day dosent come.

I would hope not. There little test appears to have been a disaster at best. I would hope there not going to bring it back in that form anyway... Many people are quite unhappy

Did they pay anyone for damages incurred from testing with our products and traffic or do they just think these things belong to them?

Yes, might have gone up slightly as the "no questions asked guarantee" on the order form, although i put exactly the same on my sales pages mostly so didn't really affect me.

Most vendors have that message on their sales page... so it cant be the reason for your not noticing any refunds. (sometimes you can just get lucky).
I must tell you this: It is very different when the refund policy message is on the order form!!! Can you imagine entering your credit card information to spend your hard earned $$.... and just on the side, there is a big: Refund After 60 Days message. It can make the difference.

You will go like: whatever, I can get thy money back right after ordering, and it keeps reminding your as you fill the form.

So the traffic we PAY for belongs to them?

I see our relationships with Clibkbank as ones of contract, and not ownership.

Hypothetical example from an affiliate's point of view (Vendors have a similar cause of action, I think):

If we agree (contract) that I will advertise your store at location A for a commission, and I Pay for advertising, do you have the right to move to Location B without telling me or reimbursing me for my advertising expenses?

i personally havent seen an increase in refunds. but its a good thing they reverted back to the old page, the big refund message was a bit of a turn off.

What? the point is simple it is clickbanks order form you choose to use it. if you are not happy with THEIR order form then go use someone else as a payment gateway and your hypothetical example is stupid
