SEO via Google Maps

Has anyone experienced quick organic results for your sites on Google maps ....check this post

I know you can do SEO on your entrys at Google Maps. Use keywords in title and descriptions.

 

Make sure you use the categories that Google offers - and also the custom ones you can enter. This is where you can make use of locality terms.

 

Hmm; interesting. Does adding in location-keywords help? Or does Google Maps already 'automatically' do that?

 

You won't get any organic ranking boosts from Google Maps entries. However if you're using Google Local Business Listings you can make your company/service appear in the Local business listing results. This will result in traffic. Add as much useful information about your business as possible. Encourage reviews of company too get some lovely yellow Google stars.
