This guy is selling skool.co m for $300,000. What's a reasonable counter offer? And is it worth that amount???

No, it's not worth that much. Probably 100,000

I'd say $50k. If I had the money and was looking for a domain like that (which i'm not) I would pay around $50,000.

    My opinion ;)

Mid $xx,xxx. The website is poorly constructed. However, the potential for the site is high with a broad demographic. Yet, I wouldn't be surprised if this site were to sell for the low $xx,xxx b/c of a desperate seller with not many willing buyers in the market.

Good idea. Low balling is always great when going in to snatch a domain.

If they counter at 100k or something, go back mid $50,000 or so.

Let us know what you get it for :)

They countered with $300,000. No movement. Also with a statement.. " You on Crack?"

Listen to me when I say... Leave that domain name alone. You can find so much better elsewhere. Especially, having to deal with that kind of seller... I wouldn't be surprised if they were on crack themselves. The seller could have easily stated their price in a professional fashion.

However, at the same time, this is a great seller for the buyers purpose. A lot of buyers wouldn't want to deal with a seller like this b/c of their lack of eloquence.

I don't think you'll have much chances in acquiring this domain name though, unless you'd be willing to counter with an offer close to 40% of what they're asking.

Really, I can't speculate much on what price the seller would be willing to close on without directly contacting this domain holder. Yet, just by their attitude toward you as a buyer, I highly doubt if you waited years this seller would find a buyer. Especially in this market, it wouldn't logically make sense economically to pay that much for a domain that right now shouldn't be more than around $50k undeveloped in todays market. And, I'm saying undeveloped' b/c their website is built so weak that it might as well be undeveloped!

You can probably grab school.com for that amount. lol.

I'd pay $2x,xxx or $3x,xxx AT MOST for that domain name.

I'd say the slang is a better domain though ;)

    I wouldn't go much higher than $150,000
