Keyword in domain name

it can be huge, i have seen keyword URL domains with 1 or 2 backlinks beat sites with 1000's.

a brand name url is best if you have any offline promotion e.g. radio, word of mouth, billboard.
one of the best techniques is to use a keyword URL as a landing page for your site.

Yep, Domain name is one of the important factor in Search Engine Optimization cause if your domain name suits your keyword then you will have got ranking easily for those keywords which you want to target in major search engines.

 

I agree even my wordpress blogs have keywords in them ... although ive some morons use names like blogurple.com or sleekbusiness.com sound pretty dumb haaa. but waith the keywords in the domain... got Yahhhhh .......

 

Keyword in the domain name is huge, take for example my fairly new website in my sig panel. The first website in my sig panel is less than a month old and it ranks #12 in google for that keyword.

 

Im so damm amused at wana be seo domainers..... if you're a marketer and have limited funds then keyword the url.. and the on and off page seo is high ranking....

 

Are we saying then if some one types in carpet cleaning crawley, and you have carpet cleaning crawley, com then it will be almost certainly ranking high in google

 

It depends on a lot of factors and keyword research is key.Most likely it will if can get a .com one

 

thats dam Skippy.......> if Dan Schulz where still here heed be the first to say dont get a keyword domain... but since he has passed on his mastery over to other seo marketers like my self... I encourage domain relevancy to higher extrema ... so if you have one main niche like carper cleaning have the damm word in the url ... simple very simple .....

I bought carpetcleaningcrawley.com did a tiny bit of seo, and 5 articles submitted it to google local
I got No 1 in the local search, and I am bouncing around 5 in the organic search for the keywords carpet cleaning crawley. with about 4 weeks. If you read this post and reply I would love to see where I rank in the US for these keyword, could you look and tell me, please

Hmm, I think naming your site with your best keyword will also improve you a lot.
If you want to sell flowers, the domain name "fineflowers.com" will perform better than "fine.com".
