Yes it is write. Because RBI is scanning everything about our online income so it is mandatory to provide Pan Cart in Paypal site.

Is MB and other online payment gateways also asking for Pan???

Yes, you need to add your PAN in PayPal account in order to use their services. RBI has made this mandatory in order to track our online earnings. Its better you apply for PAN card to keep on using their services.

    Thanks

Let clear some information which assumed by some of fellow Indian PayPal users. First RBI never track our earnings, they only tracking funds transfer done by PayPal, most of us have PAN Card attached with bank accounts so we already have PAN card option with us with our bank where our earning tracked by Income Tax departments. Here RBI just want to make sure that money transition done by legal/professional manner to stop Money laundering within system.:)

Of course we can use other alternatives , but most of the members here are using PayPal only and so it is mandatory for us to use PayPal only as there is no way to send money from PayPal to any other Payment processors.
